This field trip for Grade Six students reflects the current Alberta curriculum concerning flight dynamics. Students from Calgary and the surrounding area can come and be taught by our enthusiastic and expert volunteers!
In this program, students learn how an aircraft flies. They study forces of flight, Bernoulli’s Principle, Newton’s Laws of Motion, and the control surfaces of aircraft. This tour is a great way for students to experience real-life application of abstract concepts. They are able to discover the secrets of flight using real aircraft.
