Visual art offers a creative springboard for exploring the expressive nature of words. Working individually and in groups, students discover how well-chosen words can bring pictures to mind and how words and images can work together to express thoughts and feelings. Guided looking activities encourage students to observe, brainstorm, contemplate and describe. 1.5 hours, $8 per student.
