Bio 30, Population and Community Dynamics (4.5 hrs)

A Look at Conservation Management

Conservation is the primary focus, drawing on important concepts such as biological and genetic diversity to better understand this complicated process. While observing some of our animals, key terms will be discussed and conservation strategies explored. The students will examine the many challenges we face in conservation work and how they relate to what they are learning in class.

  • Length: 4.5 hours (includes 30 minute lunch break)
  • Time offered: 10am, Maximum 1 per day
  • Program Fees: $350, Availability: September - April
