Classroom & Field Programs

Classroom Programs

Professional educators deliver engaging and fun presentations on topics in natural resources development looking at how they are developed, issues surrounding their development and stewardship. Presentations are activity-based and integrate multiple perspectives.

Classroom presentations are 45-75 minutes and are tailored to suit your classroom. Multiple classroom visits per school is preferred, so before you request a presentation, please consult with the staff at your school to see if other teachers are interested in receiving one of our presentations as well.

Field Programs

Our team of professional educators will lead your students through an interactive curriculum-connected program and provide a great day of outdoor experiential learning.

Inside Education field studies operate during May, June, September and October. These full or half day programs are available for grades 4-12 at various field sites across the province.

The following field studies are available: 

Des Crossley Demonstration Forest – Central Alberta (Rocky Mountain House Area)

Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest – Southern Alberta (Kananaskis Country)

Huestis Demonstration Forest – Northern Alberta (Whitecourt Area)

Evergreen Centre for Resource Excellence and Innovation – Grand Prairie
