This workshop offers students a chance to discover the science of aviation and flight firsthand. Rotating through 5 stations, students will make close observations of the physics of flight: air pressure and Bernoulli’s Principle, the movement of air molocules, angle of attack, principles of lift, drag and turbulence, wing shape, and the difference between space shuttle and airplane flight. Duration: 1.5 hours, Maximum 50 students per program.
