Enter the baroque world of Fernando Botero. Botero, a world-renowned artist, has been inspired by defining moments in his home of Colombia and around the world. His unique style, layered in symbolism, seeks to create images that make the viewer reflect on life through the artist’s eyes. Through specific activities, students will discuss how artists share their voice in their artwork through imagery and how, as individuals, can we interpret and understand this imagery.
