Problem Solving on Earth

After a brief history of space disasters and problems, students will work as a team to solve a “space dilemma”. In a hypothetical situation in which astronauts are stranded on Titan (one of Saturn’s moons), students will have to decide as a group whether or not to send a repair mission to Titan, or let the astronauts take their chances coming home on their own. Groups will represent different delagates while debating, such as astronauts, politicians, and civilians. Duration: 1 hour, Maximum 30 students per program.
