Our Story
Empowering Educators & Enriching Students
Since 1988, we have proudly served the Calgary area and Southern Alberta with curriculum-aligned programming that brings the Alberta Program of Studies to life.
We are a collaborative consortium of diverse educational organizations across Southern Alberta. From museums and science centers to nature reserves, our members offer dynamic, inquiry-based programs that cover the full spectrum of the K-12 curriculum.
Our Purpose
SERG exists to bridge the gap between the classroom and the community. By facilitating access to educational sites and extension activities, we aim to cultivate a deeper awareness, understanding, and appreciation of our region’s rich natural and cultural heritage.
