Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC)
A champion for the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife
About
The Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is a wildlife rehabilitation centre located just outside of Calgary, AB. Since 1993, we have been a champion for wildlife in need through rescue, rehabilitation and release. We believe our responsibility to wildlife includes an educational component that emphasizes the importance of environmental protection, and as such, AIWC offers engaging public education programs to inform all ages of the importance of wildlife to our ecosystem and way of life. Through our programs, participants will learn about species that call Alberta home, challenges they are facing, and how we as individuals can hep protect our wild neighbours.
