About This Program
This activity-centered program begins with a tour of our Historical Village, where students discover how people in the prairies built their homes, and embraced new materials, tools and methods of construction. Students will then design their own personalized quilt block, build a model log cabin following a blueprint and use old-fashioned tools to make their own wooden toy to take home.
