About This Program
Grade appropriate activities to meet Alberta curriculum connections that highlight biodiversity and the interactions living things have with their environments.
What to Expect
Programs taking place at the Weaselhead are entirely outdoors, there is no indoor facility. Once classes are down in the park, there are no bathroom facilities. Students should be prepared for a day outside in potentially muddy or wet conditions including appropriate footwear (white shoes aren't the best!), layers, sunscreen and rain/snow gear. Students should bring enough food and water to get them through a busy day outside with the expectation that everything they bring in, comes out with them again.

Accessibility
Physical Accessibility
If onsite, there are options to stay on paved trails or go onto unpaved side trails where footing is variable. There is also a large hill that classes go down at the beginning of the day and must come up at the end of the day. There are no bathrooms in the park.
Neurodiverse Accommodations
We work with teachers and students to ensure strategies to support all learners are used.
